Planning Consent
DCP's team of architects and technicians are experienced in steering sometimes complex projects through the challenging planning process. We take an informed view of what might be achieved throughout all stages of the project and, in consultation with our client, we work up a detailed plan of the scheme to negotiate any aspect of the design proposals with the planning department.
We aim to negotiate planning consent within the shortest timeframe possible, according to the size and scale of the scheme together with any specific site issues. We respond quickly and efficiently to any planning issue that might arise during the course of the project. Where a development does go to appeal we help prepare and represent the case or act as an expert witness.
And the importance of public consultation to the success of any scheme cannot be underestimated. DCP seeks to engage the local community and other stakeholders in the proposed development. Professional illustrations and perspectives can be produced for public consultations or exhibitions and we are happy to attend these on behalf of our clients to answer any questions on the scheme design.
